ROGU TEAM

“Nothing touched by flame
Ever remains the same.”

– Anguis

ROGU is a fire, light and movement arts performance and education company based in Ireland.

By fusing the spectacular nature of circus and fire performance together with the illusions of magic and object manipulation along with expressiveness of dance and theatre ROGU focuses on creating shows that push the boundaries of what fire and light performance can be.
Inspired by the power of performance to inspire and uplift ROGU has a strong emphasis on making performances accessible to a wide ranging audience. Due to the spectacular nature of fire performance, along with the fact that they are generally performed outside in public spaces and have a large audience capacity, ROGU’s performances suit a wide variety of events and have the power to reach audiences that are not naturally drawn to or catered for in the arts.

Motivated by the positive impact these art forms have had on themselves and others ROGU aspires to share these artforms through performance and education.

Experience ROGU’s unique vision of the art of fire and light.
